Made It Monday

I finally made something! I finally made something! I finally made something! Can you sense my excitement!? Ha! I feel like I am always pinning things, but never actually making them. Not anymore! I'm finally linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for Made It Monday!

The first project I completed was turning Pringles containers into holders for my rulers. I saw the idea of Pinterest, of course. It was super easy!

The next project was also super easy! I bought the paper at Hobby Lobby. I plan on using these for my center activities. I didn't label the drawers yet because I am going to put the name of the center of the outside so that I can easy change it if needed. (Ignore the background of this picture....it can only be described as our "stuff that doesn't fit anywhere else" room).

My last project wasn't really a project....I printed and laminated Cara's daily schedule cards (head over to her blog here) and then put magnet on the back so that I can easily change the daily schedule in my room. I just put the cards on the fridge to show they're magnetized. They're not staying there!

Common Core Scoot!

I finally finished my only product that I've done this summer for TpT! :)

My students LOVED the Scoot game so much last year that I knew I wanted to incorporate it again this year. And what better way to incorporate it than using the Common Core standards. So, I developed as many Scoot games as I could that directly linked to the 2nd grade Common Core standards...and I came up with 16! Yay! Here is a list of all the activities you get with this product:

If you'd like to check out this product, you can find it here!

I am currently working on a FIRST GRADE VERSION that should be done by the end of next week...hopefully!

Annnnnnd, if you'd like your very own copy for FREE, make sure you follow my blog and then be one of the first two to comment below (make sure to leave your email address). I'll email it over to you ASAP!

It's Back to School Time...almost

After taking a month off from blogging and all school related things, I'm back!!  I thought I'd share some back to school finds. Yes, it is that time again!

Here's what I picked up at the Dollar Tree:

(mini white boards with a pen, extra pens, pocket envelopes, and notepads)

And here's what I got at Target all for $1 each (except the tape). There is still a lot I want to get....but I am setting a budget for myself so I don't go overboard. :)

(9 dictionaries, 2 thesauruses, 1 rhyming dictionary, mini white boards, Dr. Seuss pencils, To Do List notepad, and duck tape)

And I finally got my second Thirty-One bag too! It'll be perfect for my computer.

And here's what I've been doing with my personal time. I visited my friend in Seattle...

...and my fiance and I bought a house! It's a plot of land at the moment. But it will be soooo fun to watch the progress over the next 4 months.

I'll be back later this week with some DIY projects I've been working on! Happy Monday!

Link up with your back to school shopping too!
