How are your kiddos doing on counting to 100? I still have some that say things like "18" instead of "81." We count and play games on a hundreds chart daily, but some of my kiddos still need that extra practice. SO, I made this hundreds grid for them.
You can get the freebie here. They need to cut out ALL the cards ( I know, I know...it's a lot of cutting ) and glue them in the correct order on the blank frame. I made one for Halloween and some of my kids did a fantastic job! (I'll talk more about those kiddos in a minute) The ones that didn't do so well will be doing this one with me in a small group. Here is our Halloween one.
On to my kiddos who have the numbers to 100 mastered!! They will start counting to 1,000! Wooohooo! They are SO ready for it. I realize that it is not a first grade standard, HOWEVER our district is pushing the Growth Model (which I love and agree with) and I want to make sure my higher math kids are pushed too. Here is a sample of what we will be doing:
You can purchase this at my TpT site for $4. Click here to see it.
Have a fabulous rest of your week!
I'm trying to catch up with you!!! Hee hee! Love our ordering activity but I swear - this year,I'd have those suckers up noses. Last year's kiddos would have done awesome. I'm downloading to use later in the year or next year. Thanks!
