Halloween Math

What's better than combining Halloween with math?! Wellllll..... Halloween and language arts, but that's a whole different post. Haha! You can see that here. Anyways, Halloween and math are pretty darn great together too!! Soooooo, I created an adding and subtracting review page for my kiddos that is Halloween based. Take a look:

And of course you can get your very own copy of this here.

On a related note, does anyone have any creative ideas (or any ideas really) for Halloween costumes?! I am stumped this year (not to mention broke), so if you have any cheap, easy ideas let me know. :)

  1. Ok,so I am always looking for cheap and easy Hallowen costumes. So here are a few I've seen (or actually made) over the years. A lot of these came from Family Fun magazine/website
    1. Smartie Pants - tape packs of Smarties onto your pants
    2. Deviled egg - make 2 large poster board eggs, punch 2 holes in the top of each one and tie them together so you can wear them (like a sandwich board). Then, get some devil horns and/or a pitchfork.
    3. Quarterback - Tape a large paper quarter to your back.
    4. Ceiling fan - Get some pompoms and make a pennant that says, "Go ceiling"
    5. Jogger (my personal favorite) - put on your favorite sweats, tennis shoes, and headphones
    6. Ladybug/butterfly - wear black sweats and make posterboard wings (just use string or elastic to make straps).
    I hope these help!
