Are You Tired of Halloween Posts Yet?? I hope NOT! :)

My Halloween centers are up and running in my classroom. The students are in love! And I am loving watching them work! One BIG (at least I consider it big) problem that I had was that my color printer ran out of ink earlier this week and I didn't have time to go get more. As a result, our worksheets, center names, and center cards were in black and white (insert collective gasp). I was SO sad! Take a look...

We also made Halloween spiders using our sound of the week "th". This idea came from one of my favorite websites, Pinterest! It specifically comes from The Lesson Plan Diva. See the post here!

The students cut out their own circles and legs and then they came up with words to write on the legs using the sound of the week.

Don't know why the pictures kept coming out sideways. They weren't when I posted them. Oh well!

Then I let the students pick a place in the room for their spider to "crawl." SOOO many students wanted them hanging above our door, but we aren't allowed to hang things.
