Here's our clip system. The students start the day on green and if they are being a "star" they get to move to the star. The number one reason students get to move there is for helping others without being asked to.
If a student ends the day on star, we track it. Here is a list of my kiddos and how many days they have been on star. Oh, and the student gets a star sticker to take home. Those are above the chart. Notice that every student in my class has been on star at least once already....Yep, they're awesome! (The blanks are because some kids never showed up the first week of school and I was too lazy to rewrite it. Hehe. I figure I will get more kiddos soon anyway).
We have table points in our class. The smiley face is because the group won last week. When a table wins, they get to use the pillows for the week when we sit on the carpet.
The stars hanging down are how the kids can tell what table they sit at. I have used these for the past seven years with every grade I have taught. Love them!
I didn't get any pictures of them, but I should also mention that students can earn tickets throughout the day for working hard, helping others, participating, and so on. These go into a bin for our weekly raffle on Fridays.
If you want to know any more about the specifics of my management, just ask! Happy Friday!!!!!
I am your newest follower! YAY!! I have found a fantastic way to reward students with Brag Tags. They motivate my students to behave with the promise of a reward Tag they collect for other Tags throughout the year. The tag "Caught Doing Good" Tag is one of my favs. They are only 15 cents each!
